Flower Shop
The Farmette’s flowers are grown on our small diversified flower and vegetable farm focused on beautiful, sustainable blooms for your Farmette event from early July through mid October. All flowers used in our arrangements are grown here on the Farmette property or thoughtfully foraged nearby, using organic and sustainable farming practices. We grow with the seasons, creating memorable, one-of-a-kind arrangements that are connected to the time and place of your event.

Meet the Crew
Ryan has worked at the Farmette for over a decade. He lives here, got married here, manages the flower and vegetable fields, and raises his small flock of sheep and chickens. His love for agriculture has taken him from Colorado to farms in Chile and Italy, from small-scale market gardens to a thousand-acre Tuscan pig farm, shaping the way he manages the diversified farm here at the Farmette. He enjoys researching succession plantings and cover crops, going for long runs, and planning his next trip to Italy.
Farm Manager
Since graduating college in 2019, Mad has been cultivating and tending to organic market gardens across the Front Range alongside working in floral design. Their passion for ethical land stewardship and floristry has culminated in their role with the Lyons Farmette, where they get to see things through from seed to vase. A certified Rocky Mountain Naturalist, Mad delights in the biodiversity they engage with everyday and loves sharing the flower fields with all of the different pollinators.
Field Manager/Florist
Nicole is new to the farming world, but no stranger to flowers. Working as a floral designer over that last handful of years sparked a curiosity around growing flowers. If you know her well, you know she loves learning new things. Joining the Farmette farm team has deepened her appreciation of the natural world and all the beauty it holds. When she’s not in the dirt, Nicole is trying her hand at herding the farm sheep, throwing sticks to the dogs, learning Italian catch phrases from Ryan, or talking current events and pop culture with Mad.

All florals used in our arrangements are grown here at the Lyons Farmette using regenerative farming practices and arranged on site by our farmer florists.

From bulk buckets of fresh cut stems for DIY wedding florals, to bridal bouquets, boutonnieres, bud vases and sprays, the Farmette can help with a wide array of floral needs for your wedding day.
Though we design with what is seasonally available in our fields, we will do our best to accommodate your color and flower preferences. Requests can be made in the ‘notes to florist’ section at checkout.

For bulk flower buckets we ask 2-4 weeks of notice.
For bouquets, boutonnières, bud vases and more involved arrangements, we ask for 4-6 weeks notice.
Last minute? Reach out! We can usually accommodate smaller orders on short notice depending on our availability.

Bouquets, bud vases and boutonnieres will be delivered day-of by Farmette staff.
Bulk flower buckets can be picked up in our flower stand the day of your rehearsal, or at an otherwise agreed upon time.

Although we prioritize events at the Farmette, we can generally take on smaller orders without issue - bridal bouquets and boutonnieres - with pickup arranged on-farm. We are unable to deliver.
